World-class boy band BTS’s RM and girl group BLACKPINK’s Jennie were spotted at the same place.

On the 8th, singer-songwriter and band SE SO NEON’s vocalist Hwang So-yoon posted several photos from a recent concert on her social media. She captioned, “SE SO NEON UNION, a grand unification of SE SO NEON.”

Among the Polaroid photos, Hwang So-yoon shared were BTS’s RM and BLACKPINK’s Jennie, drawing much attention. While fans noted that RM and Jennie didn’t take a photo together, they couldn’t hide their excitement at the indirect interaction. They speculated that the two might have interacted in person.

Comments included, “The two stand out even in black and white photos,” “Even with a hat on, Jennie is a true heavenly idol,” and “RM looks cool. I’m curious about Hwang So-yoon’s performance,” showing positive reactions.

Hwang So-Yoon is an artist under the label Magic Strawberry Sound, which houses diverse artists such as 10CM, Sunwoo Jung-A, and Park Moon Chi. She also participated as a forward for team FC Wonder Woman on SBS’s popular variety show ‘Goal-Ddeurineun Geunyeodeul 2’.

Meanwhile, in September, BTS’s agency HYBE announced the renewal of contracts with all members. They are expected to continue their activities as a complete group until 2025.

BLACKPINK, which Jennie is a member of, celebrated their 7th debut anniversary last August, but news about their contract renewal has not been announced yet. Amid various rumors about the members’ transfer and disbandment, their agency, YG Entertainment, stated, “The contract renewal is under discussion.”
