Coyote Ugly is a romantic comedy movie that was released 23 years ago.

In Korea, it wasn’t a box-office hit, but it gained substantial popularity with the development of the DVD market.

Significantly, the movie’s theme song, LeAnn Rimes’s “Can’t Fight the Moonlight,” became a global hit.

Today, let’s take a look at the main characters of the movie Coyote Ugly, which entertains viewers with exciting dances and songs.

In Coyote Ugly, Adam Garcia played the role of Kevin O’Donnell, a kind man who would do anything for the woman he loves.

Initially disliked by the female main character, Violet, due to a prank by a friend, the two eventually resolve their misunderstandings and grow closer.

Despite the movie being centered around female characters, Garcia’s standout performance also captured Korean fans’ hearts.

Adam Garcia

Adam Garcia established his place as a teen star by playing the lead roles in the 2000 films Bootmen and Coyote Ugly.

Both films feature dance scenes, and Garcia, an accomplished dancer, has also appeared on dance audition programs.

Afterward, Garcia starred as Jason, the son of Drew Barrymore, in Riding in Cars with Boys.

His most recent work is the 2021 Netflix film Afterlife of the Party.

In the film, he portrayed Howie, the father of Cassie, who returned to life to atone, delivering a touching performance.

Piper Perabo

Piper Perabo played the main character, Violet Sanford, in Coyote Ugly. Violet was a girl from a small town in America who moved to New York with dreams of becoming a songwriter.

She got a job at the Coyote Ugly Club by chance, where she was exposed to a new world and achieved more than her dream.

Piper Perabo also showcased her exceptional singing skills, matching LeAnn Rimes, who sang the theme song “Can’t Fight the Moonlight.”

Piper Perabo was cast as the lead in Coyote Ugly early in her career, and the film was a box-office success.

She later showed her charm as Julia’s main character in Imagine Me & You and had a supporting role in Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige.

Piper Perabo is well-known for her role as CIA agent Annie in the TV series Covert Affairs.

Recently, in the 2021 TV series The Big Leap, she portrayed Paula, a character filled with passion for dance, and showcased her captivating dance moves.

Maria Bello

In Coyote Ugly, Maria Bello appeared as Lil, the bar’s owner Coyote Ugly.

She occasionally showed a fiery temper in the film but was a refreshing and straightforward boss.

She even gave Violet a chance to work and was a passionate character who loved her store dearly.

Maria Bello debuted as an original cast member of the popular TV show ER. She later played major roles in various works and won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 18th Chicago Film Critics Association Awards for her role in A History of Violence.

In particular, she starred in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor in 2008 alongside Brendan Fraser, Jet Li, and Isabella Leong.

She took over the role of Evelyn from Rachel Weisz, who had left the series.

Maria Bello has also participated as a producer in films such as Searching for Fellini, The Confirmation, and Giant Little Ones.

In the 2022 film The Woman King, she expanded her range of activities by participating as a screenwriter.

Izabella Miko

Izabella Miko is a Polish actress. Her father, Aleksander Mikołajczak, is also an actor.

Being a graduate of the American Ballet School, Izabella Miko has a lot of dance-related works in her filmography.

In Coyote Ugly, she left a strong impression as ‘Cammy,’ a blonde employee with dazzling dance skills.

Izabella Miko has been consistently active as a leading and supporting actress in various works after Coyote Ugly.

She also appeared in Make Your Move, a Korean-American collaborative film produced by the creators of Step Up and singer BoA.

She was also cast in the fifth series of Step Up, Step Up: All In, where she played the role of Alexa.

Although she has not been active in films recently, she shows various aspects of herself through social media.
