Bill Gates Visits the Statue of Unity

On Friday, Bill Gates shared a picture on Instagram from the Statue of Unity in Gujarat, India. The statue is the largest in the world and was built to honor Sardar Vallabhai Patel, a politician who played a significant role in reuniting India after British colonial rule. Prime Minister Narendra Modi commissioned the statue in 2013. Gates visited the statue before attending the wedding party of India’s wealthiest man, Ambani, where he socialized with the world’s rich and famous.

Bill Gates saw the statue at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation. He mentioned, “Thanks to @narendramodi for inviting me to visit the Statue of Unity. It’s a marvel of engineering and a fitting tribute to Sardar Patel,” as he uploaded his picture smiling in front of the giant of steel and bronze on Instagram.

After he visited India, Bill Gates posted a follow-up video about the Statue of Unity set to Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now,” capturing his experience.

Attends the Wedding of India’s Richest Man Ambani’s Son

However, what’s making Bill Gates headline news is his attendance at the pre-wedding party of the Ambani family, hosted by Mukesh Ambani, the wealthiest person in Asia. At this party, there were private performances by Rihanna and attendance by the most famous personalities from business and Bollywood, as well as tech CEOs like Bill Gates celebrating the wedding of his son Anant Ambani.
