On the 9th, Volvo Car Korea announced that it would reopen its expanded Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Center in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, to enhance customer satisfaction.

Around $116 million was invested in renovating this PDI center equipped with storage space and conducts quality inspections before delivering vehicles to customers. The center has been expanded to accommodate up to 50,000 vehicles annually.

In particular, the expanded PDI center, which has increased to a total area of 90,000 sq ft, is the first in the domestic imported car industry to introduce solar power generation facilities.

The enlarged PDI center also embraced a sustainable operation method of recycling car-washed water through ozone treatment. Furthermore, by replacing the paint booth and lighting with the latest equipment and introducing a driving test process, Volvo Korea is ready to offer improved quality of pre-inspection.
