Is It Art or Aliens? Las Vegas Police Stumble Upon Strange Structure

A massive metal pillar has been discovered in the northern desert of Las Vegas, USA. This structure, called Monolith, has recently been found in various parts of the world. It has not yet been determined who installed it or for what purpose.

According to ABC and BBC, on the 18th, the Las Vegas Police Department reported that they discovered a tall metal monolith on a hiking trail north of Las Vegas, which is believed to have appeared over the weekend.

The metal monolith seen in the photos released by the police was positioned in alignment with the horizon, reflecting the surrounding desert. This is similar to the metal monolith in downtown Las Vegas in December 2020.

The Las Vegas Police Department released photos of the structure, stating, “We see a lot of weird things when people go hiking, like not being prepared for the weather or not bringing enough water… but check this out!”

This metal monolith, reminiscent of the mysterious black monolith from Stanley Kubrick’s sci-fi movie 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), is called a monolith. About four years ago, monoliths began appearing, starting from the Utah desert in 2020, and have since been found in Ukraine and on the Isle of Wight in the UK.

The metal monolith discovered in the desert of Utah in December 2020 disappeared without a trace after just nine days, sparking much discussion.

A newly discovered monolith was found near Gas Peak, a popular hiking spot in the Nevada desert, approximately an hour north of Las Vegas.

Interestingly, the monolith was installed on a high ground overlooking the desert, prompting the police to question, “How did it get up here?”

The size and material of the Nevada monolith have not been accurately determined. The monolith discovered in Utah in 2020 was 3.6 meters (about 11.8 feet) tall and reportedly sounded like a cardboard box when knocked.

While the installer and purpose remain unknown, the consistent appearance of monoliths worldwide has sparked various speculations online.

Some claim it’s an art installation, but conspiracy theories of “alien involvement” have also spread.
