According to AFP, Maduro warned that he would hold opposition candidate Edmundo González Urrutia responsible for all the issues.

On the same day, Biden, who spoke with President Lula on the phone, emphasized the need to clarify the allegations of electoral fraud.

The White House stated, “The two leaders shared the perspective that the Venezuelan election outcome represents a critical moment for democracy in the hemisphere, and they pledged to remain in close coordination on the issue.”

During the call, the White House added that Biden expressed his gratitude for Lula’s leadership regarding the Venezuelan issue.
