Messi’s $12M Ibiza Mansion Vandalized by Environmental Activists

Daniel Kim Views

A luxury mansion owned by soccer star Lionel Messi was vandalized with paint on the Spanish island of Ibiza.

The perpetrators are Spanish environmental activists. They claimed that during the illegal construction of €11 million (approx. $12 million), people died from the heatwave in Spain’s Balearic Islands.

Furthermore, they cited a report from Oxfam noting, “The elitists emit as much carbon as the poorest two-thirds of humanity,” explaining the positions of the ultra-rich in the current climate crisis. Last July, they vandalized a billionaire’s luxury yacht for similar motives.
