Bloomberg reported on Monday that Apple CEO Tim Cook made his third visit to China this year.

On the same day, Cook attended the 2nd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo in Beijing from November 26 to 30. The event, hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, marked Cook’s first appearance at the expo despite Apple’s past participation.

During the event, Cook answered questions about Apple’s Chinese partners, acknowledging their significant role in the company’s success. “Apple wouldn’t be where it is today without our partners,” Cook stated, sharing the exchange via a social media account affiliated with China CCTV.

In a speech at the expo, Cook expressed pride in showcasing Apple’s work alongside its Chinese partners and called it an honor to be present.

Earlier this year, Cook visited the opening of an Apple store in Shanghai, the Wangfujing Apple store in Beijing, and a farm in Beijing using iPhones and iPads for crop production. During that visit, he reiterated Apple’s commitment to increasing investments in China and supporting the development of the local supply chain.

Meanwhile, Li Qiang, China’s Premier, plans to meet privately with executives from major global companies such as Rio Tinto and Corning before the expo. These meetings will likely focus on supply chain and trade issues amid concerns over President-elect Donald Trump’s threats of high tariffs.
