The aircraft skidded off the runway upon landing at Muan International Airport, colliding with a perimeter wall and sustaining severe damage. The National Fire Agency reported that numerous passengers were ejected from the fuselage, resulting in multiple fatalities. As of the latest update, 85 deaths have been confirmed. Out of the 181 people on board, only two survivors have been rescued so far, with the majority of passengers presumed dead.
