The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) launched its annual summer forum on Wednesday at the Lahan Select Hotel in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province.
Running through Saturday, this year’s forum is one of the nation’s largest economic gatherings, drawing approximately 500 corporate executives, business leaders, and policymakers. The KCCI chose Gyeongju as the venue to drum up public interest and support for the upcoming APEC summit and APEC CEO Summit. These high-profile events are set to take place in about 100 days in this historic city, according to KCCI officials.
