TAIPEI, July 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The TAIPEI MUSIC EXPO (TMEX) has kicked off its international call for entries, inviting music industry professionals worldwide to join this year’s event. Set for August 28-31 at the Taipei Music Center (TMC), TMEX is a cornerstone of the 2025 TRENDY TAIPEI series. This four-day extravaganza will feature a mix of industry forums and live performances, headlined by the highly anticipated JAM JAM ASIA showcase of breakthrough artists from across the Asia-Pacific region.

Themed “Tune in to Taiwan. Sync with Asia.”, TMEX 2025 aims to foster creative collaboration across the Asia-Pacific music scene. More than just an expo, TMEX serves as a premier networking hub for record labels, music festivals, artist management agencies, and industry leaders. The international call for entries encourages music professionals – including curators, festival organizers, agency reps, and media – to participate in programs designed to strengthen regional ties.

TMEX 2025: A Catalyst for Regional Exchange and Industry Insights

This year’s TMEX boasts its most ambitious program yet. The TMEX Forum will bring together influential voices from across Asia for panel discussions on creative strategies, industry innovation, and global music trends, featuring a keynote by a prominent music and media figure.

The TMEX Exhibition will showcase Taiwan’s largest gathering of record labels, music festivals, artist management agencies, and industry platforms. Strategic partnerships with leading events and venues – including Thailand’s Big Mountain Music Festival (BMMF), Korea’s Zandari Festa, Busan International Rock Festival, and Japan’s live house brands Zepp and duo MUSIC EXCHANGE – further expand TMEX’s international reach.

Another key feature is the TMEX Biz-Matching program, facilitating curated one-on-one networking between Taiwanese and international professionals. The expo’s first two days are industry-only, while the weekend opens to the public with showcases and live performances.

JAM JAM ASIA 2025: A Genre-Defying Celebration of Contemporary Asian Music

Returning as part of TMEX 2025, JAM JAM ASIA unveils its most diverse lineup yet. Headliners include Korean American electronic trailblazer Yaeji, Thai rock icons POTATO, genre-bending Japanese group ALI, and Singaporean Mandopop superstar Tanya Chua.

Taiwanese artist Lim Giong, known for his Cannes-winning film scores, will deliver a late-night DJ set. Other must-see acts include a collaborative performance by Taiwanese rap sensation Dizzy Dizzo and Okinawan hip-hop artist OZworld, alongside rising stars like Vietnam’s soulful Mỹ Anh and Filipino American indie darling Michael Seyer.

Taiwanese heavyweights Sunset Rollercoaster, Flesh Juicer, and 9m88 will also take the stage, cementing Taipei’s status as a vital creative hub. With over fifty confirmed artists – and more to be announced – JAM JAM ASIA promises a multi-stage celebration of Asian music. The surrounding plaza will transform into a vibrant street party, amplifying the festival vibe.
