American rapper Jay Z has been named the wealthiest rapper in the world.

On the 16th (local time), the American financial website New Trader U revealed the top 10 richest rappers in the world for 2023.

Jay Z took the top spot with an estimated net worth of $2.5 billion. He has received over 22 Grammy awards and sold over 100 million albums. However, this only accounts for a portion of his income.

Jay Z has amassed a considerable fortune through various businesses, including the music label Roc-A-Fella Records, the fashion brand ‘Rocawear,’ and the liquor brand Armand de Brignac Champagne.

Rapper Diddy came in second place with an estimated net worth of $1 billion. Kanye West was third, with a net worth of $550 million.

Following them were Dr. Dre, Birdman, Drake, Eminem, Pharrell, Master P, and Lil Wayne.

Jay Z met pop star Beyonce (41) while working on music in 2002, and they married in April 2008. They announced their first pregnancy on the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards stage. In 2017, they welcomed twin siblings.

Previously, the couple made headlines by purchasing a luxurious mansion in California for $200 million in May.

This luxurious mansion is considered the second most expensive house in the U.S. and California’s most expensive real estate. Famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando constructed it over 15 years ago. Before the couple’s purchase, art collector William Bell owned it.
