There is no need to boil soft-boiled and hard-boiled separately
Try boiling them together now!
Do you prefer soft-boiled eggs when you boil them? Or do you prefer hard-boiled ones?
I am a soft-boiled egg lover. But my mom always prefers hard-boiled eggs and never eats soft-boiled ones.
So when we eat together, we always have hard-boiled eggs. But! I brought something fantastic today.
Do you know how to make one soft-boiled and another hard-boiled egg simultaneously in the same pot, even though they are boiled for the same amount of time?
If you put ‘this’ in the pot, you can make and eat both soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs simultaneously. So, two people with different tastes can satisfy themselves and enjoy their eggs.
How can you make it in the pot, and what is ‘this’? I will tell you right now. Let’s get started!
Materials needed:
- Pot
- mug
- eggs
Yes, you guessed it. The star of ‘this’ that you can tell from the materials is the mug.
Let’s see how it’s boiled using the mug.
CHAPTER 1. Fill the pot with water
The first thing you should do when boiling eggs! It’s filling the pot with water and boiling it.
So far, it’s the same as when you normally boil eggs.
CHAPTER 2. Put the mug in
But if you want to boil them for the same amount of time and make both soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs, you must put a mug in when you fill the water!
Fill the mug with water, put the eggs in the pot, and put an egg in the mug in the same way.
CHAPTER 3. Boil the water for about 10 – 15 minutes
Put eggs in both the pot and the mug. Then, plan to boil them for about 10 to 15 minutes.
As you boil the water, you will notice that the water in the mug is not boiling, even though the water in the pot is boiling vigorously.
So, even though the water in the pot is boiling vigorously, the water in the mug remains calm.
From this, we can tell. The vigorously boiling water makes a hard-boiled egg, and the egg in the mug becomes soft-boiled!
CHAPTER 4. Peeling the shell
After boiling for about 15 minutes, I took out the eggs. I placed each on a plate, peeled the shell, and cut them in half. The egg in the pot turned out to be hard-boiled, and the egg in the mug turned out to be soft-boiled!
This is how you can make soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs simultaneously in the same pot, boiled for the same amount of time, all thanks to the ‘mug.’
The internet is well known for stating that ‘soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs are ready after a few minutes.’ However, I have found it annoying to make two trips for each and have memories of forcibly eating hard-boiled eggs because I forgot to set the alarm.
So, I thought using this mug to make both soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs was unique and valuable.
If you don’t use a mug and boil them, here’s a simple time guide
- 7 minutes: The egg white is cooked, and the yolk is undercooked
- 12 minutes or more: Fully hard-boiled
Keep this in mind.
Dieters commonly consume eggs as one of their most frequently consumed foods. Based on boiled eggs, one egg has 70 calories, and if you fry an egg, it has 130 calories per egg.
There’s quite a difference, even though it’s just a matter of adding oil or not, right? Eating boiled eggs would be better if you’re on a diet.
They are good for brain health, digestive health, eye protection, and so on, so they are healthy food!
Eating eggs in the morning can prevent anemia and activate the immune system, so I recommend eating them in the morning.
However, eating too many can cause indigestion, so eating 1-2 eggs, no more than 2 in the morning is best.
Eggs are not only nutritious snacks for people but also dogs. When feeding dogs, you should cook white and yolk; half an egg is appropriate for a small dog.
Also, dogs may have allergies, so it’s best to feed small amounts first and then comfort them when there are no problems!
Today, I showed you how to boil eggs. Now, please don’t fight over whether to eat soft-boiled or hard-boiled, but boil them simultaneously and eat them in harmony!
