Not just any skating spot, the rink is nestled within one of France’s top cultural landmarks, the Grand Palais, initially built for the 1900 World’s Fair. Now revamped, the Grand Palais des Glaces boasts an impressive 3,000 square meters (about 32,300 square feet) of gleaming ice, making it the largest rink in France.
From December 14 to January 8, the museum’s main hall will transform into a sparkling winter wonderland. “We’re opening the doors wide,” says a museum spokesperson. It’s going to be the coolest place in Paris—literally!”
