The Hong Kong Tourism Board’s grand-scale festival, Hong Kong WinterFest, will transform the West Kowloon Cultural District into a winter wonderland from December 1 to January 1.

The Christmas Town at West Kowloon Art Park will feature a towering Christmas tree, creating a magical, storybook atmosphere. Visitors can indulge in a global culinary journey at the Christmas market while hunting for unique gifts. Every Saturday evening in December, at 8 p.m., the Winter Harbourfront Fireworks Show will illuminate Victoria Harbour.

During WinterFest, Hong Kong’s theme parks will host special Christmas-themed events. At Hong Kong Disneyland, the Disney Christmas celebration runs until January 1. A highlight is the Magical Dream Castle, where the Disney Christmas Live Concert combines beloved Disney soundtracks with festive carols, creating an enchanting experience for visitors. Guests can also join the New Year countdown event alongside iconic Disney characters, making the year’s end unforgettable.

Hong Kong is currently in the grip of panda fever. Visitors to Ocean Park can meet Hong Kong’s first giant panda twins, born in August, and two new pandas from Sichuan in September. Panda-themed photo zones and exclusive souvenirs have quickly become favorites among panda enthusiasts.

No visit to Hong Kong is complete without experiencing its breathtaking night views. The city’s stunning skyline, framed by Victoria Harbour, can be admired from various vantage points. For the ultimate nighttime experience, a Victoria Harbour ferry tour is highly recommended. With soft background music, the shimmering skyline creates a picturesque nightscape. Among the various cruise options, dinner cruises are particularly popular with couples, offering a romantic meal paired with stunning views.

Hong Kong is home to some of the world’s most famous bars, each offering a distinct concept, ambiance, and signature cocktails to elevate your travel experience. Ranked 9th on Asia’s Best Bars list, Argo impresses visitors with its creative cocktails, botanical greenhouse-inspired interior, and floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the stunning Victoria Harbour nightscape. Meanwhile, Ozone, located on the 118th floor of The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, holds the title of the world’s highest rooftop bar.
