Massive Overhaul at Tottenham: Who’s In and Who’s Out?

A list of Tottenham players that soccer fans believe should be let go has been revealed.

Yonhap News

Paul O’Keefe of British media outlet Football Insider said on the 15th (local time) via his social media, “There are many players that Tottenham could potentially let go in the upcoming summer market.”

He added, “There are 15 players who could be let go from Tottenham. Some of them are currently on loan. Up to 16 players could leave the team.”

Considering recent transfer rumors and performance, Tottenham fans speculate on the club’s fan site that the list could include Sergio Reguilón, Tanguy Ndombele, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Giovani Lo Celso, Richarlison, Ben Davies, Ryan Sessegnon, Bryan Gil, Djed Spence, Joe Rodon, Japhet Tanganga, Yves Bissouma, Emerson Royal, Dejan Kulusevski, and Troy Parrott.

Among these players, Reguilón (Brentford), Ndombele (Galatasaray), Spence (Genoa), Rodon (Leeds United), Tanganga (Millwall), Perisic (HNK Hajduk Split), and Parrott (Excelsior Rotterdam) are currently on loan to other teams.

If Tottenham decides to let go of up to 16 players and undergo a major reconstruction, manager Antonio Conte plans to restructure the squad around team captain Son Heung Min.

Alasdair Gold, a journalist well-informed about Tottenham, said via social media last April, “It’s worth noting that Conte plans to build Tottenham around Son Heung Min.”

In a recent interview, Conte stated, “Son Heung Min will be part of Tottenham’s future. I always consider him to be a core part of Tottenham.”

Meanwhile, Tottenham, led by Son Heung Min, is preparing for their 38th Premier League (EPL) match against Sheffield United FC on the 19th.
