Novak Djokovic Donates Entire Olympic Prize to Charity: A Champion’s Heart!

Tennis legend Novak Novak Djokovic decided to donate the entire 2024 Paris Olympics gold medal prize money. According to Inside the Games, Djokovic plans to donate the €200,000 reward he will receive from the Serbian government. He said he would use it for “those who need it most.”

The Paris Olympics held special significance for Novak Djokovic. Despite his historic achievement of 24 Grand Slam titles, the Olympic gold medal remained the final goal he had yet to accomplish.

On August 4th, in the men’s singles final at Stade Roland Garros in Paris, Djokovic triumphed over Carlos Alcaraz of Spain with a score of 2-0 (7-6<7-3>, 7-6<7-2>). This victory allowed Djokovic to realize his dream of becoming an Olympic champion.

At 37, Djokovic broke a new record as tennis’s oldest male singles gold medalist. He broke the previous record held by Roger Federer (Switzerland), who won at the age of 31 during the 2012 London Olympics.

By winning all four major tournaments and an Olympic gold medal, Djokovic has now achieved the Career Golden Slam. He becomes the fifth player in history to reach this remarkable milestone.

In 2007, Djokovic and his wife established the Novak Djokovic Foundation to provide Serbian children with kindergarten education opportunities. Recently, he has been actively involved in charity work, raising about $93,900 to build a kindergarten in a remote village.
