Actress Lee Si-young has revealed she is battling altitude sickness while climbing the Himalayas.

On the 31st, Lee Si-young posted a lengthy message on her Instagram, describing her journey as a “series of hardships and adversities.”

Lee Si-young shared, “The Himalayas are not as beautiful and happy as they look in pictures. Of course, these hardships make the end of this journey more beautiful, but day by day, we are all enduring and learning about life.”

She continued, “Three of our team members, whose oxygen saturation dropped below 50, couldn’t breathe without an oxygen tank and couldn’t stay with us till the end, but their hearts were with us. I experienced and learned for the first time how scary altitude sickness can be. The Himalayas, where we gain as much as we suffer, are countless.”
