A post about a strange woman spotted on the morning commute has taken the online community by storm. The woman in the picture shared by the author was not just strange but terrifying.

On the 8th, various online communities rapidly spread a post titled “Terrifying Picture on Today’s Commute.” The author shared the scene they witnessed, asking, “What am I seeing on my way to work?”

The picture showed a woman in white clothes, sitting with her hair hanging down in the gap between buildings. The woman’s appearance was reminiscent of a ghost from a horror movie. The author expressed their shock by saying, “I was so scared, I almost peed 84.5 gallons.”

Netizens who saw this also expressed their surprise with comments like, “Is that a real person?” and “That’s too scary.”

Amidst the curiosity about the woman’s identity, some netizens figured it out. It turned out that the woman the author saw was a ‘wall deco’ picture. It was a product sold with a Halloween concept in an online shopping mall. The fake hair attached made it even creepier.

Upon this revelation, netizens speculated that the building owner might have installed it between the buildings to prevent public urination and smoking.

News1

Public urination is punishable under Article 12 of the Minor Offenses Punishment Act. If you urinate or defecate in places where many people gather or pass by, such as streets or parks, and do not clean up, you can be fined up to 100,000 KRW (approximately $85).

Littering cigarette butts is also punishable under the Minor Offenses Punishment Act, with a fine of up to 100,000 KRW (approximately $85), detention or a surcharge.

Once the identity was revealed, netizens expressed relief with comments like “I wouldn’t dare to urinate or smoke there,” “How scared must they have been to put up a picture of a ghost,” “Even the building owner must get scared sometimes,” and “That’s one hell of an idea.”
