World Star and BLACKPINK’s member Lisa starts 2024 with surprising news.

On the 13th, Lisa’s management agency, LLOUD, confirmed that “Lisa will make her acting debut and join the cast of “The White Lotus” for the show’s third season.

On the same day, Variety also announced that BLACKPINK member Lisa will make her acting debut in the third season of the hit US television series The White Lotus, becoming the second member of the popular South Korean K-pop girl group to appear on HBO.

Lisa’s upcoming project, “The White Lotus,” is scheduled to air in 2025 and is a hit series on HBO in the United States.

The series is highly rated and famous, with Season 1 winning 10 awards at the 74th Emmy Awards. The story is set in a luxurious beach hotel.

The K-pop star will be credited under her given name, Lalisa Manobal, and as with all castings for the third season, her role is being kept under wraps.

Another wide-ranging cast includes Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Dom Hetrakul, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, and Christian Friedel.

Lisa is the third member of BLACKPINK to make her acting debut.

The first member to announce her acting debut was Jisoo, who starred in the 2021 JTBC drama “Snowdrop” and made a successful acting debut. Jennie also appeared in the 2023 HBO series “The Idol” and visited the Cannes Film Festival.

Meanwhile, Lisa re-signed from YG Entertainment regarding the group activity last year and established her own agency, LLOUD, for her individual activity.

BLACKPINK member Jennie also established her own agency, Odd Atelier, and actively engaged in individual activities. Fellow group member Jisoo joined her older brother’s company.
