Variety reported, “‘The White Lotus’ will start production in February in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok,” adding, “Lisa is the second BLACKPINK member to appear in an HBO series following ‘The Idol’ Jennie.”

“The White Lotus” is a television series that depicts what happens over a week at the luxurious hotel chain White Lotus. It’s a smash hit that swept ten awards at the 74th Emmy Awards in 2022.

Previously, Lisa was also rumored to appear in season 2 of the American AMC drama “Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” in January. With her upcoming appearance in “The White Lotus,” there’s a growing expectation about whether Lisa would make her acting debut in Hollywood. Especially since “White Lotus” is known to be filmed in Thailand, Lisa’s home country, there’s much anticipation around Lisa’s role.

Lisa recently announced the establishment of a new event management and promotions company, LLOUD.
