Volkswagen has unveiled the concept car ‘ID.X Performance,’ a proposal for a high-performance EV car.

Based on the first sedan in the ID family, the ‘ID.7’, this vehicle is equipped with Volkswagen’s high-output EV powertrain.

Volkswagen

The ID.7 is equipped with a rear-wheel drive with a maximum output of 286ps and a maximum torque of 55.5kgm, while the ID.X Performance adds an electric motor to the front wheels, resulting in an AWD drive system. The maximum output during boost is 558ps, 272 horsepower higher than the ID.7.

Volkswagen

The front splitter and rear diffuser are made of carbon, and a carbon wing is installed at the rear. The sports suspension has lowered the garage by 60mm, and 20-inch aluminum wheels with 265-size racing tires are installed.
