In just one week, a string of mysterious deaths involving famous models has shaken the high-end apartments of Los Angeles.

The UK media outlet Mirror reported that models Maleesa Mooney (31) and Nichole Coats (32) died within two days in the same upscale neighborhood in LA.

Mooney discovered dead in a luxury LA apartment on September 12th, was a well-known sister to pop star Pauline Jordan. She was working as a real estate agent while preparing to launch her modeling career.

Though the exact cause of death remains unclear, authorities are considering the possibility of homicide.

Two days before Mooney’s death, Nichole Coats was found in a bloodied state in the same apartment complex.

The family of Nichole Coats stated, “We couldn’t even recognize her. She was bloodied. We believe it’s murder. One of her legs was suspended in the air as if kicked. She wasn’t just another dead person.

However, local police officials counter that they are “not treating this as any type of murder case and are unaware of any information to support such a claim.”

Authorities are currently examining any connections between the two incidents.
