The cast and director of Dune: Part 2 shared their experience of arriving in South Korea for their press tour.
During the press conference for Dune: Part 2 held at the Conrad Hotel in Seoul, Chalamet expressed deep gratitude, sharing, “This is my second visit to Korea, and I’m happy to be here. The love in Korea goes above and beyond – I’m incredibly touched!”
Zendaya also shared, “I feel fortunate to be here. Everyone has given me such a warm welcome. Fans showered me with heartfelt drawings and love from the moment I landed. So grateful to be here with the cast I’m proud to be a part of.”
Austin Butler agreed, “Echoing everyone’s sentiments, the warm welcome from the Korean fans filled me with joy! The respect for film here is inspiring, and I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity.”
Stellan Skarsgård made the audience laugh by sharing, “I love Korean food so much. It’s sad to only be here for three days. I have to keep eating. I have to eat as much as I can.” Director Denis Villeneuve added, “It is an honor to be here in Korea. I know Koreans love movies. It is a country of true cinephiles. I am truly grateful.”

Director Denis Villeneuve made his Hollywood debut with an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film “Incendies”. He also directed Sicario and Arrival and is currently receiving praise for his vision and execution as the director of Dune.
This is the first time in five years that Timothée Chalamet has visited Korea since the 2019 Busan International Film Festival alongside Dune cast members Zendaya, Austin Butler, Stellan Skarsgård, and director Denis Villeneuve.
Dune: Part 2 will be released on February 28.
