Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel posted a 28-second video of the meeting with Ambassador Ma before the return of Ambassador Ma on President’s X (former Twitter), saying, “I conveyed Cuba’s support, solidarity, and unchanging friendship to Comrade Ma, who is finishing his diplomatic mission.” Ambassador Ma has been working in Cuba since October 2018, and his successor has not been announced.
