Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on allied nations for support, cautioning that the country’s missile supplies are running low.

According to The Independent on the 6th (local time), Zelenskyy disclosed this in an interview with Ukraine TV.

“If Russia attacks us daily as they did last month, our anti-aircraft missiles could be depleted,” he said, adding, “Our allies would be aware of this.” He also noted, “Currently, we have enough reserves to respond (to the attack), but we are already making difficult choices about what to protect.”

He specifically highlighted Ukraine’s urgent need for 25 units of the U.S. anti-missile system, the Patriot, to bolster its defenses.

Regarding the security assistance package for Ukraine, which is not passing through the U.S. Congress due to Republican opposition, he responded, “We still believe we can get a positive vote in the Congress.” He countered claims within the U.S. that the war is already leaning, stating, “The situation is difficult, but it’s stable, and the enemy is not advancing.”

In response to the host’s question about possibly receiving support as a deputy, he affirmed, “We will agree to any option.”

Meanwhile, this interview was released amid Russia’s intensified bombing of major Ukrainian cities with missiles and drones. The Ukrainian military command also revealed that Russia is dropping various chemical substances, including thermite, which is included in the Chemical Weapons Convention, daily via drones.
