British Woman Ditches THIS, Loses 84 Pounds to Transform Life!

A British woman in her 40s who lost 84 pounds (38kg) in just seven months by quitting delivery food has garnered explosive public attention.

The Sun

British media recently highlighted the remarkable weight loss journey of Pamela O’Rourke, a 44-year-old mother of two from Glasgow, Scotland.

According to The Sun, Pamela shed 84 pounds (38 kg) in just seven months, bringing her weight down to 126 pounds (57 kg). The key to her success was surprisingly straightforward: she stopped ordering delivery food. Pamela, who previously spent about £600 monthly on takeout, revealed she had spent approximately 64.6 million won ($54,500) on delivery food over the past five years.

Pamela used to consume around 4,500 calories a day, often eating secretly to avoid criticism from her family. Her diet was heavily based on fast food from chains like McDonald’s and KFC. Consequently, her weight had soared to 209 pounds (95 kg).

Pamela’s turning point came when she saw an old classmate on television in December 2020. The classmate, who had become a soldier, was sharing his struggle with a degenerative disease that affects the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. Witnessing his plight made Pamela reflect deeply on her own life and health.

“He was on the show to raise awareness and funds for stem cell treatment,” Pamela said. “Watching him made me feel guilty about the way I was living.”

After that, Pamela completely cut off greasy, high-calorie takeout food. Instead, she reduced her meal portions and ate chicken, fish, and vegetables. She incorporated walking into her daily routine as long as it didn’t strain her body immensely.

Seven months into her diet, Pamela achieved her goal weight of 126 pounds (57 kg). Since then, she has maintained her weight by avoiding carbonated drinks and alcohol. It has now been three years since she began her diet.
