The Titanic: Artifact Exhibition will open on October 17 at the Saunders Castle in Park Plaza. At the time of its construction, the Titanic garnered massive attention as the largest passenger ship in the world. It tragically earned the nickname of the “ill-fated passenger liner” after sinking during its maiden voyage in 1912. Decades later, the movie Titanic captivated audiences by portraying a love story set against the backdrop of this historic disaster, deepening public interest in the ship.

The exhibition will showcase over 250 artifacts recovered from the wreck and the meticulously recreated Titanic interiors, including its grand staircases and suite rooms. Visitors will be immersed in the lives of the Titanic passengers through this exhibition.

Upon entry, each visitor will receive a ticket modeled after a Titanic boarding pass. “We want visitors to feel as if they were passengers boarding the Titanic,” said a representative for the exhibition.

The exhibition will follow a timeline of events and showcase the Titanic’s ill-fated journey from its departure to its sinking. It will run until May 29, 2025.
