South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol received a warm welcome as he disembarked from Air Force One from Brazil’s regional ambassador, Breno Costa, the commander of the airbase Fabio Silva, and the Korean ambassador to Brazil, Choi Yeong Han, at the Galeão Air Force Base.

Yoon is set to collaborate diplomatically with various world leaders in Rio de Janeiro. His first official event will take place on Monday when he will attend the launch ceremony of the “Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty.” During this event, he plans to highlight South Korea’s efforts to combat hunger and poverty. On Tuesday, he will discuss the means to address the international climate crisis and the transition to clean energy at the “Sustainability and Energy Transition” meeting.

Yoon will also collaborate with leaders from South Africa, Mexico, Indonesia, and other nations on economic and diplomatic strategies.

This visit by Yoon is anticipated to strengthen international relations by addressing various issues pertinent to the summit’s themes and seeking standard solutions. It is expected to provide a significant opportunity to discuss different economic and diplomatic issues with leaders worldwide. South Korea aims to solidify its international standing and continuously demonstrate its commitment to solving global hunger and poverty.
