Daniel Radcliffe, the star of the legendary ‘Harry Potter’ series, has doubled his cash holdings.
On the 28th, the foreign media outlet ‘The Sun’ reported that actor Daniel Radcliffe has doubled his cash bag just this year up to 16 million pounds (approximately $21.3 million).
This staggering sum is a fraction of the estimated 89.7 million pounds (approximately $119.6 million) that Daniel Radcliffe has amassed since the success of the ‘Harry Potter’ films.
In 2000, Daniel Radcliffe’s parents established ‘Gilmore Jacobs’ to effectively manage the money he accumulated at a young age. Gilmore Jacobs paid 456,000 pounds (approximately $609,000) in corporate tax last year. Based on the UK’s 25% corporate tax rate, it can be estimated that the company made a profit of around 2 million pounds (approximately $2.7 million) just last year.
Gilmore Jacobs is known to hold approximately 91.5 million pounds (approximately $122 million). Despite a decrease in asset value by 2.5 million pounds (approximately $3.3 million) due to fluctuations in the global stock market, the company’s assets are still reported to be 89.7 million pounds (approximately $119.6 million). Gilmore Jacobs also owns real estate worth 3.4 million pounds (approximately $4.5 million).
Meanwhile, the documentary ‘David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived’ produced by Daniel Radcliffe as the executive producer was released on HBO last November.
