Jungkook, a member of BTS, is proving his world-class prowess. On the 2nd (Korean time), Jungkook achieved consecutive success as an Asian solo artist at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards held in Los Angeles, California.

Jungkook won two awards at the ceremony, including the K-pop Artist of the Year category and the Best Music Video category for his solo single “Seven.”

In addition, Jungkook, who is part of BTS, also won the Best Fan Army category at this awards ceremony. Since this category was first established in 2018, BTS has won seven years in a row, proving the power of their fandom.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards is a music awards ceremony hosted by the American online radio broadcaster iHeartRadio since 2014. It annually awards the most played artists and songs on iHeartRadio broadcasts and apps.

Jungkook, who has succeeded at overseas music awards, enlisted in the 5th Division of the Army in December last year and is currently serving. He recently revealed that he serves as a cook and is “cooking well.”

A two-year hiatus due to military service is inevitable, but Jungkook’s popularity is not waning on the global stage.

In February, he won the Male Artist of the Year category at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, a major U.S. pop music awards ceremony. He also topped the 2024 Billboard K-pop Artist 100, selected by the U.S. music media Billboard, demonstrating his aptitude.
