The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza, governed by Hamas, reported a cumulative death toll of 2,670 this evening.

Furthermore, with the Israeli side reporting over 1,500 deaths, the total death toll from both sides amounts to over 4,100.

As the Israeli military, expected to deploy ground forces to eradicate Hamas, continues its daily airstrikes, the number of injured in Gaza has increased to over 9,600.

Amidst this, hospitals in Gaza are overflowing with patients, and there is a shortage of medicines and fuel, leading to the possibility of thousands more dying, according to AP News quoting local medical staff.

In the case of Nasser Hospital in southern Khan Younis, Gaza, the intensive care unit is filled with children under three injured in the airstrikes, and the hospital’s power supply is expected to last only until the 16th.

If the power supply runs out, they won’t be able to operate oxygen respirators or dialysis machines.

Additionally, Shifa Hospital, the largest in Gaza, reported that its morgue is full, and they had to bury over 100 bodies without funeral procedures.

Philippe Lazzarini, representative of the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees, expressed concern, stating, “An unprecedented humanitarian crisis is unfolding before our eyes.”
