Russian Foreign Minister’s Surprise Visit to North Korea: Kim Jong Un Talks for Over an Hour!

Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister who is visiting North Korea, had a conversation with Chairman Kim Jong Un for over an hour, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced on the 19th (local time).

The Russian Foreign Ministry did not disclose detailed information about the meeting between Chairman Kim and Minister Lavrov.

After a meeting with North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Son-gwon in Pyongyang, Minister Lavrov held a solo press conference and said, “We support the establishment of a regular negotiation process to discuss the security issues of the Korean Peninsula without any preconditions.”
