The number of Palestinian deaths has exceeded 10,000 due to the effects of the war between Israel and the Palestinian armed group Hamas.
According to AFP and Reuters reports on the 6th (local time), the Gaza health department under Hamas held a press conference on this day and announced that “the cumulative number of deaths so far has been counted as 10,022.” Among them, 4,104 were children. However, the casualty statistics revealed by Hamas have not been verified by outsiders.
Meanwhile, Israel has been blockading the Gaza Strip and carrying out operations to eliminate the Hamas leadership since the war broke out due to a surprise attack by Hamas on the 7th of last month.
