NewJeans has set another record on Spotify.

According to the world’s largest streaming platform, Spotify, the total number of streams for all songs released by NewJeans as of November 7 was recorded at 3,065,735,564.

As a result, NewJeans reached the milestone of 3 billion cumulative streams in just about 1 year and 3 months after their debut.

NewJeans established themselves as a global superstar by successively hitting the charts with their debut album *New Jeans* in August last year, followed by the single album *OMG* in January this year, and the second mini-album *Get Up* in July.

In March, they achieved a cumulative total of 1 billion streams on Spotify. They were recognized for setting the record for the shortest time (219 days) to achieve this among K-pop artists and also registered in the Guinness World Records.

They surpassed 2 billion streams in less than five months and showed tremendous growth by adding another billion streams in about three months.

“OMG” has been streamed over 500 million times, “Ditto” and “Hype Boy” billboard each over 400 million times, “Attention” and “Super Shy” each over 300 million times, and “Cookie,” “Hurt,” “New Jeans,” and “ETA” each over 100 million times.

Their success on the Spotify charts continues.

The title track, “Super Shy,” from the second mini-album Get Up, has stayed on the Daily Top Songs global chart for over four months and ranked 93rd on the Weekly Top Songs global chart (as of November 2), maintaining its place the rankings for 17 consecutive weeks.

Meanwhile, NewJeans will perform as the first K-pop girl group at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) on November 19 (local time).

After being nominated for the most awards among K-pop artists at this year’s BBMAs, they were selected as performers in the shortest time (1 year and 3 months) after their debut among K-pop artists, proving their status as ‘global superstars.’ Girl Group 2023
