Kris is charged with sexually assaulting three women who were unable to control their bodies due to alcohol at his home in 2020.

In Canada, chemical castration is implemented for sex offenders, so there is speculation that Kris might also be subjected to castration.

Meanwhile, Kris debuted as a member of EXO and EXO-M under SM Entertainment in 2012.

In 2014, he filed a lawsuit against his agency for nullification of his exclusive contract and left the team to return to China.

He continued his career as a singer and actor in China but was arrested by Chinese public security in 2021 following various sexual allegations.
