SEVENTEEN Surpasses BLACKPINK in Latest Idol Group Brand Reputation Analysis

Seventeen, (G)I-DLE and RIIZE take the Top 3 spots in February 2024 Idol Group Brand Reputation Big Data Analysis.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 76,794,082 pieces of idol group brand big data from February 15 to March 15, 2024. This is a 0.30% decrease from last month’s idol group brand big data.

SEVENTEEN ranked first in idol group brand reputation with a brand reputation index of 5,915,377. Seventeen’s brand reputation index was analyzed based on the following sub-indices: a participation index of 711,774, a media index of 1,041,776, a communication index of 1,976,770, and a community index of 2,185,056. This is a 16.54% increase from the previous month’s brand reputation index of 5,075,849.

According to the Military Service Act, Seventeen’s 1995-born members S.COUPS and Jeonghan are required to enlist before the end of this year.

(G)I-DLE ranked second with a brand reputation index of 6,671,073. (G)I-DLE’s brand reputation index was analyzed based on the following sub-indices: A participation index of 240,688, a Media index of 924,408, a communication index of 1,956,261, and a community index of 2,549,717. Compared to the brand reputation index of 2,700,100 last month, it surged by 110.03%.

(G)I-DLE received much love from fans by releasing the song “Super Lady” from their second regular album on January 29.

RIIZE ranked third with a brand reputation of 4,742,090. RIIZE’s brand reputation index was analyzed based on the following sub-indices: a participation index of 877,884, a media index of 957,577, a communication index of 1,229,119, and a community index of 1,677,510. Compared to the brand reputation index of 2,965,936 last month, it increased by 59.89%, proving its popularity.

RIIZE is receiving much attention after debuting last year, sweeping the Rookie Awards at various awards ceremonies.

IVE, who won the Album of the Year at the 2023 Melon Music Awards last year, ranked fourth, and BLACKPINK, who recently made headlines with their agency transfer, ranked fifth.

Director Gu Chang Hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Institute analyzed SEVENTEEN, saying, “In the link analysis, ‘proving, certifying, donating’ came out high, and in the keyword analysis, ‘Asia Tour, Nana Tour, CARAT’ came out high. The positive-negative ratio analysis recorded a positive ratio of 91.08%.”

Meanwhile, several members of SEVENTEEN are about to enlist in the military. The oldest members, S.COUPS and Jeonghan, turned 28 this year.
