The shocking story of a 31-year-old man is making headlines.

In an international online community, the story of a Chinese man who suffered a stroke, underwent treatment and rehabilitation, and ultimately returned to everyday life has garnered a lot of attention.

In 2018, the then 31-year-old man woke up from sleep and suddenly felt his face go numb.

He lost control of his left limbs, and his speech was unclear, which led to suspicion that something was wrong with his body.

When he took a selfie with his phone, his face was paralyzed, and he could not make any facial expressions, but at the time, he fell back asleep due to extreme fatigue.

After being in a coma for three days, the man woke up in a hospital and was diagnosed with ischemic stroke, which led to full-body paralysis.

The man, who became the youngest patient ever to be hospitalized for ischemic stroke at his hospital, is known to have contracted the disease because of his bad habit.

The man had worked for over ten years since he was young and earned 50,000 yuan a month (approximately $7,800).

However, despite his hefty workload, he only slept for 4-5 hours a day for three months before falling into a coma, and his lack of rest led to paralysis.

The man, who used to earn $7,800 a month, lost his ability to work afterward.

He went to the hospital every day for rehabilitation and had to pay substantial medical expenses to receive acupuncture and physical therapy.

After learning to speak and walk all over again, he did his best to recover, and it is reported that he has recovered enough to return to work after six years.
