They said this meeting demonstrates the “invincibility and durability” of the two nations’ friendship and unity. It highlighted a critical time when the friendly relations between North Korea and Russia are being strengthened as a robust strategic fortress. This alliance aims to foster the construction of a new multipolar world and defend international justice, peace, and security.

The Kremlin also released a video of the two leaders’ meeting. Putin and Kim shook hands, embracing each other twice as smiling in the video.
The two leaders traveled in an Aurus limousine, a seven-ton vehicle typically used by the Russian president. Putin gifted this luxurious car to Kim last February. Interfax reported that the Aurus used by Putin and Kim for their journey was indeed Putin’s vehicle.

Due to domestic affairs, Putin arrived late in North Korea and is scheduled to travel to Hanoi, Vietnam, on the afternoon of the 19th. The two leaders are expected to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement at the summit, scheduled for this afternoon.
