A satellite image captured that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un owned a luxury yacht, measuring 262 feet long, operating near his private villa in Wonsan, Gangwon Province.

Radio Free Asia reported that analysis of satellite images taken on June 27th and July 5th by Planet Labs, a publicly traded American Earth imaging company, revealed that Kim Jong Un’s private luxury yacht was active off the coast of Wonsan in Gangwon Province.

This luxury yacht, equipped with an international-standard swimming pool and measuring 80 meters (262 feet) in length, was located about 900 meters (2,953 feet) away from the Galmaban Peninsula on June 27th and captured about 500 meters (1,640 feet) away from the coast where the Galmaban villa was situated last Friday.

There is speculation that Kim may have taken a test cruise before boarding for his summer vacation or that Kim’s family members, including Ri Sol Ju and Kim Ju Ae, could be spending their summer vacation.
