Russian President Vladimir Putin has raised the possibility of joint military exercises with North Korea.

According to TASS, Putin addressed the topic during Thursday’s plenary session of the 21st annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club in Sochi, Russia. When asked about joint military training with North Korea, he remarked, “Why not? We’ll see.”

Putin referenced the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty signed between Russia and North Korea in June, highlighting Article 4, which stipulates mutual support in case of invasion.
