K-pop star Choi Yena is set to dazzle Japanese audiences this fall with performances in Tokyo and Osaka, her agency YueHua Entertainment announced Friday.
The rising idol will bring her “I Am Star!” show to the two cities on September 15 and 17, respectively. This marks her return to Japanese stages after a seven-month hiatus following her previous sold-out performances.
Fans won’t have to wait long for new music from Choi, as she’s slated to drop her fourth EP, “Blooming Wings,” on July 29. This release comes approximately ten months after her last mini-album, “Nemonemo.”
The upcoming EP will feature five tracks, including the lead single with the intriguing title “I hate the most to hear that I am good.” Showcasing her growing artistry, Choi contributed lyrics to both the title track and “Hello, Goodbye.”
Choi’s star continues to rise in the K-pop world. In May, she lent her vocals to “Loser,” a track on BTS member Jin’s second solo EP, “Echo.” The duo recently thrilled fans by performing the song together at Jin’s first solo fan concert in Korea last month.
