NYC’s Holiday Season in Full Swing: 5 Best Christmas Events to Enjoy

New York City has kicked off its Christmas festivities. Travel publication Time Out reported on the various Christmas events, markets

and light shows in the city.

Firstly, Bryant Park‘s Christmas event was introducedBryant Park is a popular tourist destination that displays a tree and hosts a Christmas market every yearThe Christmas market Winter Village opened on the 27th of last month. The tree will be decorated on the 11th of this month, and the tree lighting will begin on the 28th.

Rockefeller Center‘s event was also introducedThe Rockefeller Center is a small square in front of the Rockefeller Building in ManhattanEvery year, from November, it creates an ice rink and decorates a giant tree, making it a landmark that enhances the Christmas atmosphereThe tree and decorative lights will be lit from the 29th of this month.

Events are also being held in department stores. Starting from the 22nd of this month, a light show will begin at the department store Saks Fifth Avenue on 5th AvenueThe dazzling lights that fill one side of the department store wall will sparkle in time with the carolsIt will occur every day from 5 pm to midnight, every 10 minutes.
