Surrounded by the highest peaks in the Alps, it hosts four ski resorts. It’s a ski resort that spans both Switzerland and Italy, situated at the highest point in Europe.

This place houses a massive ski resort with 24 gondolas and 178 lifts. With the Mont Blanc Unlimited Pass, you can access tracks totaling 1,003km (623 miles) in length.

Just skiing down the slopes of Chamonix Mont-Blanc and enjoying the view of Mont Blanc is deeply moving. The slopes start at 2,000m (6,561 feet) and go up to over 3,000m (9,842 feet), so you’ll feel dizzy even before you start skiing. There are numerous ski resorts in the U.S. Among them, Breckenridge Ski Resort is a bucket list item for all skiers. It’s an alpine ski resort located in Breckenridge, western Colorado. Thousands of skiers and snowboarders visit yearly because they can ski across five mountain peaks.

In addition, it offers the longest ski season in the U.S., from November to April. You can ride North America’s longest lift and enjoy thrilling skiing.

③ Japan’s Hokkaido with a Different Snow Quality

Hokkaido in Japan is famous for heavy snowfall. There are 91 ski resorts in Hokkaido, and the snow quality of the resorts, covered with natural snow, is beyond words.

The Sapporo International Ski Resort is about a 1.5-hour drive from downtown Sapporo. Many people visit here as the season starts early. It has seven courses in total, and the downhill course with a maximum slope of 30 degrees is the most popular. All the courses are long, allowing you to ski more leisurely.

Kiroro Snow World is also an excellent place to visit from downtown Sapporo and is suitable for day trips.
The monthly snowfall here exceeds 4m (13 feet). Because of the heavy snowfall, you can ski on freshly groomed slopes the next day. The conditions are good from the start of the season, attracting many skiers. It has a total of 23 courses.
