Natasha Pehrson and her husband David Pehrson, parents of four, became a hot topic on social media. They shared the secrets of their success in their diet.

Mr. and Mrs. Pehrson decided to diet together after struggling with weight gain due to marriage and childbirth. At the starting point, Natasha weighed 233 pounds, and David weighed 268 pounds.

“After giving birth to my third child, my weight exceeded 200 pounds. With each pregnancy, I gained 50 pounds and then had to lose it again. After my third pregnancy, I realized I needed to change my approach,” Natasha explained.

She also shared about her husband, “David never had problems with his weight, but over nine years of marriage, he gradually gained more than 50 pounds.”

The couple chose the 75 Hard Challenge for their weight loss method.

Entrepreneur Andy Frisella created the 75 Hard Challenge in 2019. It involves sticking to a daily routine for 75 days: adhering to a diet, abstaining from alcohol and cheat meals, exercising twice a day for 45 minutes each (with the second workout taking place outdoors), drinking 1.2 gallons of water, taking a progress photo, and reading 10 pages of a book (audiobooks are not allowed). Furthermore, in case of failure, the challenge starts all over again.

The couple completed the challenge and lost 150 pounds. “When I weighed 200 pounds, working out was so hard. Even climbing stairs, going to the pool with the kids, and shopping for clothes were difficult. Now that I’ve lost weight, everything has become easier,” Natasha said.

“After losing weight, I gained confidence, and I can live a more vibrant life,” David added.

Meanwhile, some fitness experts have criticized the 75 Hard Challenge as too extreme and brutal to sustain long-term, pointing out that the strict rules and high-intensity workouts may not suit beginners.
