Qualcomm’s Snapdragon logo will be featured in Manchester United’s new uniforms.

Qualcomm said Tuesday that it has signed a new partnership agreement, becoming Manchester United’s main uniform partner for the 2024-2025 season.

The new uniform design featuring snapdragon processors was unveiled earlier on Tuesday.

The two sides, who have already been in a strategic partnership, plan to expand the scope of their collaboration through this latest contract. The Snapdragon processor, which will appear on the front of the uniform, is used by the world’s top digital brands in smartphones, next-generation PCs, augmented reality and virtual reality headsets, games, wearable devices, cars, and more, and has been installed in over 3 billion devices worldwide.

Manchester United players are scheduled to wear the latest uniforms for the first time on July 31 in a match against Real Betis at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, US. The away and third uniforms will be unveiled at the end of July. Fans can scan the Snapdragon logo on the uniform to experience ‘Old Trafford” Manchester United’s home stadium, through augmented reality (AR) technology.

“The unveiling of a new home uniform is always an exciting moment ahead of each season’s opening. Especially this year, we are excited to welcome Snapdragon as our main uniform partner,” said Jean-Claude Blanc, Manchester United’s CEO.

Qualcomm’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Don McGuire, said, “Manchester United, which has 1.1 billion passionate fans and a highly engaged follower base worldwide, is one of the most famous clubs in international sports. With this contract, Qualcomm aims to elevate our brand recognition and raise awareness and image of the Snapdragon brand, providing users with a special experience on billions of devices.”
