Local media such as Beijing News reported, “The Beijing Higher People’s Court recently reviewed the 2023 major crime handling report at the second meeting. They decided the Kris Wu sexual assault case and two gang crimes as typical major crime cases.”

Kris is charged with sexually assaulting three women who were unable to control their bodies due to alcohol at his home in 2020.

He is also charged with committing lewd acts with another person at his home in 2018.

In Canada, chemical castration is implemented for sex offenders, so there is speculation that Kris might also be subjected to castration.

Meanwhile, Kris debuted as a member of EXO and EXO-M under SM Entertainment in 2012.

In 2014, he filed a lawsuit against his agency for nullification of his exclusive contract and left the team to return to China.

He continued his career as a singer and actor in China but was arrested by Chinese public security in 2021 following various sexual allegations.
