The LA health authorities reported that the man was found with severe head trauma in a residential area of San Pedro, a coastal area of LA, on the 9th and was admitted to a local hospital.

The health authorities distributed information such as the man’s face photo, the location where he was found, and his belongings to local media as his identity could not be confirmed.

During this process, suspicion arose that the man might be Mr. Yoon. The man was reportedly about 5’10” tall and weighing about 159 lbs, similar to Mr. Yoon, who is 5’9″ (175cm) tall. It was also noted that they had similar facial features. In addition, a black backpack, travel toiletries, and a wallet containing Japanese currency were found, which Mr. Yoon also carried during his trips to Japan.

However, the South Korean Consulate in LA said they collected the man’s fingerprints and compared them with Mr. Yoon’s, but they did not match. The exact nationality and identity of the man have not yet been confirmed.
