Former President Donald Trump, known for his love for golf, congratulated the New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko on her gold medal victory at the Paris Olympics.
Yesterday, Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, “Congratulations to Lydia Ko on winning the Olympic Gold in Golf.” He added that he met Ko at Trump Turnberry in Scotland and described her as “most impressive, not only with her Golf clubs but also as a person. Way to go, Lydia!”
A passionate golfer, Trump even owns a golf course that bears his name. In the past, he proposed a golf challenge to then-presidential candidate President Joe Biden.
Meanwhile, Trump continues to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running as the Democratic presidential candidate in place of Biden. He accused Harris of releasing a fabricated photo showing a crowded airport runway. Trump raised questions about an incident involving Kamala Harris at the airport, suggesting that the event’s image was digitally created using AI. He argued that this act constituted election interference and maintained that it should lead to Harris’s disqualification.
