NVIDIA has announced the launch of a new AI chip platform.

On the 2nd (local time), NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced at the Computex Trade Fair held at the National Taiwan University in Taipei that the next-generation AI chip platform Rubin will be launched in 2026.

While Huang revealed that the Rubin series of chips will include not only networking chips but also new graphics (GPU) and central processors, he did not provide any additional details.

The new CPU, Versa, will be used to power AI applications. It will also be bundled with the next-generation high-bandwidth memory produced by companies like SK Hynix, Micron, and Samsung.

Huang announced that he now plans to launch a new AI chip family every year and will accelerate the previous schedule of releasing approximately once every two years.

NVIDIA controls about 80% of the AI chip market and is in a unique position as the biggest supporter and rapidly increasing beneficiary of AI development.
